Double-slit experiment

Feynman's double-slit experiment

The passage of an electron, neutron, or other particle through a slit in a foil or thin plate induces alternating current and mechanical waves in the foil or plate, and these waves interact with the passing particle. When there are two slits, the propagation of these waves from both sides is restricted by these slits. However, when one slit is covered, these waves can propagate through the cover covering the slit.
